Desktop sets continue to evolve with addition functions and design features to aid the user at both work and play.
For reasons best known to Acer they launched these new notebooks on Maundy Thursday in the UK when I am told the same presentation was done seven days ago in New York.

While it may be small and eminently portable, Fujitsu’s latest external hard disk does not stint on capacity.
Here I am looking at two mice different in shape and connections. The first from Logitech the VX Nano that has a tiny wireless connector. The second from Kensington that takes shape to the extreme the SlimBlade Trackball mouse.

Just over a year ago Vista was launched and memory sticks got a new job as fast storage for temporary files. When it was launched I told you about a 2GB offering from SanDisk. There are of course others some others produced by different manufacturers some call their offerings ReadyBoost another calls it ReadyFlash. Either way they are still High Speed Flash Drives.
This is an even smaller version of the Quick Cam Pro 9000 that I reviewed last year. It is designed for use with notebooks and the clip is designed to fit on the edge of the screen.
This is a true two in one product, a full featured notebook including all you might require in the way of external connections, flip the screen and it becomes a tablet PC.
This is a 22inch panel with standard analogue (15pin input) but it also has – not as you may think digital – but HDMI so your high definition Blu-ray or other device connect directly.

While neither of these two items are likely to be needed that often when one or other is it will certainly get you out of a hole.
No not a keyboard and a hub but two separate items both at a good price with this firm charging only a flat low shipping charge for any order, something other Internet vendors might like to investigate.
This is a USB2 CD/DVD recorder/player. For anyone with only a CD or a DVD only player this is ‘All Modes’ for recording and playback. should you not have suitable software it comes with a variety.
This is far more than an average web cam, to start with it’s 2mega pixel and it has a Carl Zeiss lens. It works well in poor light and it has a great auto focus capability.

A Haynes manual for those who would like to build a PC or those who would just like to know more about what is inside and why.
If you've played with Google Earth, you've entered a 3D world within your computer. You navigate that world using buttons and icons on the Google Earth interface and it can almost feel that you're flying. The sensation could be better though...

A name I only heard about through a third party, they are a company big in Germany and they have distributors in the UK.
A warm, sunny day (yes there were one or two this year) in Central London provided the opportunity to check out some of Logitech’s new products.
There are lots of VOIP and Skype phones out there and without the supplied software this is just another (albeit stylish) phone. However add the software and the phone is no longer a ‘dummy’.

As a regular user of a laptop, I sometimes find its heat generating capability can interfere with my personal comfort.
Evesham is one of the more popular makes of notebook. Here I am looking at what probably qualifies as a mid range offering but it still manages to support Windows Vista Premium.

Not a secret agent but a FreeAgent has been increasing my storage capacity of late.
