This product is a HP All-in-One device offering print, scan, copy and fax capabilities along with an ADF (Automatic Document Feed) facility and a Duplex print module powered by a 600MHz processor with 128MB of memory. When linking the Officejet Pro to a computer system, you have a choice of wired, wireless or USB connectivity.
This is a true A3 printer as well as a unit that scans, copies and faxes, it prints A3 from within the outline of the machine yet is a good deal smaller than you would expect as paper is stored in landscape rather than portrait format.
I admit that the main reason I accepted this evening invitation was to see the view from the top of The Shard, sadly the 34th floor was the highest we got but this amazing portable scanner made up for the disappointment initially felt.

Not everybody needs a printer with various bells and whistles such as Wi-Fi and remote printing capability. The subject of this next review is just such as basic device.
The Brother HL-L250CDN Colour Laser is not a small unit, it is however quiet, fast, and surprisingly to me anyway I managed to accommodate it in my office without too much effort. Certainly not a ‘looker’ which might be a problem in the home as its USB or Ethernet.

A low slung three in one unit, it prints, scans and copies. You can connect by Wi-Fi or USB. So if the black colour is not to your liking then it can be kept away from the eyes of the loan police and anyone else that must be obeyed.

While multifunction capabilities and various bells & whistle features have their obvious appeal when considering a new printer purchase, the needs of some users can be satisfied with basis printing operations in monochrome. In such instances, the Brother HL-1110 monochrome laser printer is a possible candidate.
This is four items in one, it prints, scans, copies and for those who still use it Faxes. It is not that large but still has an ADF (Auto Document Feeder) as well as a flatbed. Everything on the unit is driven by buttons and the small display.
This is a multi function unit. It prints, scans, copies and faxes. It is a mono laser it has two paper trays and as it can be connected by USB, Wi-Fi or Ethernet if you are using it in the home the ‘other half’ can be placated by putting it out of sight.
Pop into your local High Street computer retailer and you will probably find a number of different printer units available for sale. In most cases these items will be multifunction or All-in-One devices but there could be an occasional appearance of a unit that just provides a range of basic print tasks. The Samsung Xpress M2022W is one such standalone printer.

An Inkjet multi-function machine – that means it has fax - as well as scan, copy and print. This is part of the OfficeJet range and as such has a more substantial paper input tray than you might find on those units designed for home use.
See if you can spot where I made a type that changed “faxes” into “taxes” in this review. There is more than one possible location but which was the most appropriate.
This is a Multi-Function Device in that it can print, scan, copy and for those who still use it fax. Unlike the recent offering that was monochrome this is colour and of course somewhat larger but in real terms really not that much larger.
