A Nanogram is a puzzle game based on the creation of mosaic type images laid out on a grid.  Originally featuring monochrome images, more recent versions of this type of game play have introduced the use of colour to add to the use of logic to solve these puzzles.  A recent example of this popular genre is Fantasy Mosaic 28 – Treasure Map. In this 28 edition of the Fantasy Mosaic franchise, you are involved in helping a family of penguins.

When the subject of the Parallels company is raised, my thoughts tend to concentrate on the company’s solution for running a copy of Windows on a Mac-based system.  However this is not the only product available from Parallels.  The company has also developed a Toolbox product which is available for either the Windows or Mac platform depending upon the user’s needs.  This collection of utility style tools is supposed to consist of 30+ items.

According to Phoenix Online Publishing, “Every Game was a Story” and, in this case, the story concerned “A Rite from the Stars”.  Based on the concept of a “rite of passage” found within various tribal communities, this point and click adventure game is the debut offering from the Spanish developer Risin’ Goat.  Versions of this game are available for the PC, Mac and Linux platforms.  My review is based on the Windows PC product offering.

In the past I have looked at various Edifier speaker systems but this is the first opportunity I have had to check out the company’s take on soundbars with the S50DB model.  With dimensions of 112 x 12 x 10 cm (W x D x H), for this soundbar, Edifier has gone with a fairly standard design appearance of an elongated speaker unit that can either be wall-mounted or free-standing.  Keeping the soundbar company in this kit are a wall mount bracket, screws and rawl plugs, 3.

It has to be admitted that PhotoMirage did not get off to the best of starts.

Whenever I encounter the words “Wadjet Eye” in connection with a game, I am immediately taken back to a time when a player was meant to use their imagination to embellish the more basic environment created by the development team.  In the case of the latest Wadjet Eye offering of Unavowed, this journey back also includes the appearance of a set-up file for the Window’s environment used by the game.

Having missed the original title of “Rune Stones Quest”, I can only guess at the ferocity of the battles and destruction caused as the Dwarves fought the evil sorcerer in this game.  Fortunately the follow up offering, appropriately entitled “Rune Stones Quest 2” gives you the opportunity to put right the damage caused to the Dwarves Kingdom in the first game.

The Gogi Go is a wristband unit, which can be worn on either wrist depending upon the wearer’s choice, has dimensions of 19.2 x 52 x 12.2 mm and weighs 16.6g.  Attaching this wristband proved easier when somebody else was available to hep with the task.  The wristband features a couple of metal studs which need to be inserted into appropriate holes on the band.  Applying the necessary pressure, while holding the band in position, was not the easiest operation.

ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) capability arrives for review, it is of the over-ear or on-ear type of headset with well-padded cans.  However this next product, the Jabra GN Elite 65e, features ANC technology within a set of in-ear phones that come supplied with a set of small. Medium and large EarGel inserts.  There was also meant to be three sets of EarWings but they were nowhere to be found in the box when I removed the content.

Set in medieval times, Storm Tale is a Green Sauce developed Match 3 game that is based on a village that has been devastated by a prophecy involving an evil sorcerer named Tyranus.  Following a terrible storm brought about by Tyranus, a terrible army attacked the village, stealing its possessions and then burning it to the ground.

As this handset is a member of the Honor family of products, prospective customers will no doubt expect an attractive price point.  Huawei does not disappoint in this respect.  The Honor 7S will be available from Hihonor, Argos or Three priced at £99.00. The Honor 7S handset is available in a choice of Gold, Blue or the Black colour of my review sample.  With dimensions of 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.

Whether for home or business use, the PC computer system continues to evolve and be enhanced in different ways with new features.  While these new features have been developed to make life easier for the user, they can, on occasions, cause a degree of frustration for those of us who possess more equipment than we actually need.  Take for instance USB technology.

Over the past few years I have been sent items for review that have been lacking some essential components.  These review items have generally consisted of LCD monitors but a more recent product to arrive with missing components is a 22 inch battery powered flat panel television.

It has been quite a while since I last took a look at one of Orbotix’s Sphero robotic creatures.  If memory serves me correct that product was Ollie who made its appearance back in 2014.  In the intervening period Orbotix has made a movement towards a more educational stance with its robotic development.  A result of this is the appearance of the Sphero Edu brand that includes the SPRK+ product.

Recently I have had the opportunity to step back in time and indulge myself with some retro game play.  This period of nostalgic game play was brought about by the arrival of a Retro Handheld Console from Thumbs Up to review. This handheld device has dimensions of 92 x 56 x 21 mm (H x W x D) and weighs just 76g (with batteries inserted).  As a result the device can be slipped easily into a pocket or bag without weighing you down too much or causing an unsightly bulge.

The Edifier R1850DB speaker system is made up of a pair of bookshelf style speaker units, a small remote control device, a collection of leads and a User Manual covering a selection of European languages.  With this speaker system, Edifier has bundled four leads designed for different purposes.  By far the longest and thickest lead is that for connecting the two speaker units together.  This lead measures an impressive 500 cm.  Also included is a 3.

With dimensions of 15 x 29 x 45 cm (D x W x H), this backpack is available in a choice of dark navy, granite grey and the black of my review sample.  The rather subdued and dark choice of available colours does give an indication that STM feels that this product could be expected to be used within environments where it could meld into its surroundings without standing out too much.

Developed by Awigot Studio, Rainbow Mosaics – Treasure Trip 2 is a puzzle game from the genre that is sometimes known as Nanograms.  This genre is also  referred to as Griddlers or Hanjie.  Nanograms present the player with a series of square or rectangular grids made up of columns and rows that need to be inked in based on numeric clues.  This process will have the effect of creating an image.
