Travel various countries and test your skills when searching a range of different features.

Nature Keeper combines Hidden Object game play with a mixture of mini game puzzle solving.  Available in Collector's Edition format, this offering is the work of GameOn Production.  Taking you on a journey that covers a variety of ecosystems, this game requires you to achieve a certain degree of success before being allowed to progress further through its content.

This content is divided into geographical areas.  Starting in America, you are presented with five specific challenges that consist two Hidden Object scenes and three mini game puzzles.  These items can be tackled in any order to earn the necessary Stars that will grant you access to the next location once you have sufficient balance.

Each of the Hidden Object scenes will allow you to earn up to three Stars by playing it three times using a different format for showing the different items that you are required to find.  By default each Hidden Object scene's required list will be presented in text format.  However you can switch this list to be presented as either silhouettes or parts of the scene.  As well as the required list of items, each scene will also contain three coins which, when found, can be used to purchase photos and notes based on various animals.  These will be presented as part of a photo album facility available at any time.

As mentioned earlier each country covered will feature, as part of its content, three mini game puzzles.  These puzzles will be available in Easy or Hard versions with each completed puzzle bringing the reward of a single Star.  By collecting a total of eight Stars from the country's content of five challenges, you will have earned enough Stars to move on to the next country.  Your journey will then include Canada, Australia, Japan and South Africa with appropriate locations to visit.

While the game uses a consistent layout for its Hidden Object game play, with a Hint and Magnifier tool facility, when searching concealed areas identified by an outbreak of sparkled, the mini game puzzles are presented in a suitable format for the actual puzzle.  A regular task could involve Spotting the Difference between two scenes.  You could also be required to complete a jigsaw puzzle, clear a grid of tiles that can be linked together, match pairs of face down cards, fit rotatable pieces into a template, link tiles to their appropriate hexagon and rearrange images in their appropriate coloured enclosure.

Adding to its standard content, the Collector's Edition of this product comes with the bonus of visits to Brazil and India following the same pattern of game play plus provide an album of images to use as wallpaper.  You can download Nature Keeper from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99 or from Big Fish Games priced at £14.74.  The game requires a 1.0 GHz processor with 1024MB of RAM and 1.60GB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
