"LGT SIA"Now up to version 17, the LGT SIA developed Match 3 title of Laruaville continues to offer the recently departed community with a place for their spirits to reside.  Rather than the demands of an Aztec afterlife that were introduced in the previous version of this title, the latest arrival at Laruaville come with the special demands he had become used to when living as a wealthy aristocrat who wanted every task carried out immediately if not sooner.

As usual you will be accompanied by a spiritual guide as you will be required to work your way through 100 levels of Match 3 game play.  You will be provided with an option to carry out various tasks in a choice of Relaxed mode or working with either timed or moved limit restriction.  By completing the game’s various levels you will be provided with the necessary resources needed to turn a rather plain landscape into the desired residence of the new arrival.

In order to complete each of the 100 Match 3 levels you will need to collect the designated target of removing ten gold coins from the offered grid.  This task will generally be achieved by manipulation other elements found in the grid by swapping adjacent tiles to create groups of three or more tiles which then disappear thus enabling more tiles to descend downwards.

While the Laruaville Match 3 game play tends not to offer a supply of external power-ups to give you a method of performing certain actions, you do have the ability to create your own power-ups.  By combining specific groups of certain tiles into a group of either four or five tiles, you will be rewarded with a bomb or rocket.  These rewards can be used to destroy a gold coin or remove certain blockages.  You will also have access to elements, such as a cannon which once loaded, can clear away some barriers.

As you progress through the different levels of Match 3 game play, you will be able to build up a resource balance.  This can be used to select from a source of different types of tasks available from a scrollable list of facilities and buildings appearing across the base of the screen.  When selected the facility or building will be added to the landscape, as the guide spirit and new resident glide around the scene.

Occasional breaks from Match 3 action will be provided via excursions into mini puzzle game territory.  You might need to Spot the Differences between two similar scenes, release a key element from a blocked area or complete a Mah-jong layout level.

Laruaville 17 is available for downloading from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $9.99.  It is also available from Big Fish Games priced at £5.18.  System requirements will call for a 1.6 GHz processor with 1024MB of RAM and 147MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
