With another batch of locations, BD Studio takes yet another look at Our Beautiful Earth.
Our Beautiful Earth 9 is a Hidden Object and puzzle solving title from BD Studio. Promising to take you on a journey to a number of real world locations, this game offers a choice of tackling the game in either Casual or Challenge mode with adjustable levels for background music, ambience and sound effects. There is also an option to select from a wide variety of languages when playing the game.
With an travel schedule that covers areas of Australia, Japan, America, Turkey and China amongst its stopping off points, you get to visit 30 different locations. You get to visit the different locations in a set order. Each of these locations, whether representing a natural landmark or a more man-made construction, will feature a Hidden Object scene.
This scene will come with a panel listing the various items that you will need to locate in the viewing area. These items will predominately consist of forms of animal life with an occasional other type of object thrown in for good measure just to make sure you are paying attention. Providing assistance in the search process will be Hint and Super Hint features plus a magnifier glass tool that can be used as necessary.
Along with the set list of items to discover, each Hidden Object scene will feature a number of additional items that will require attention to gain the full reward. Two postage stamp areas will be available to access a gateway to another scene(s) that might well contain items making up the required list. Integrated into each Hidden Object scene will be three domestic cats, a camera symbol and an animal paw print. While finding each cat will bring the reward of a meow, the camera symbol will capture an image of the scene for your photo album and the paw print will show an image of the creature that made the paw print and its call sign, These extra items will also add to the points/cash reward you receive.
After completing the Hidden Object scene for the particular location, you will be faced by a mini game puzzle. Disappointingly the puzzle does not really have a real connection with the preceding scene. You might be asked to find the difference between two scenes, complete a partially finished jigsaw, complete a mah-jong layout or match pairs of face down cards. Other types of puzzles include solving a Nonogram or Sudoko grid, complete a word square, clear a Match 3 grid of a particular colour and finding all the animals in a particular scene.
Having completed the initial 30 locations and accompanying puzzles, you will be able to access the game's bonus items available with this Collector's Edition product. This content is made up of 10 bonus locations, 40 mini game puzzles, a music playback facility and wallpaper offerings.
