While not completely World encompassing, this next title of Around the World from AVI Games catalogue does spread its net far and wide with the area it covers. Available in Collector's Edition format, this Amazing Countries collection provides Hidden Object game play mix with a series of mini game puzzles that can be tackled in full screen mode with adjustable audio volume levels and an option for an on-screen tutorial to explain features.
By default the game starts its journey of World locations with a visit to Australia. As with all the other locations that make up your tourist schedule, the initial visit will consist of three distinct elements that are made up of two separate scenes and a puzzle feature. The order in which these three elements can be tackled is entirely down to the choice of the player.
One scene concentrates its game play entirely on Hidden Object format. You will be presented with a scene that contains two possible areas which can be zoomed into for a closer look when searching for a required text list of items that could be coloured red or green to indicate whether the item was concealed within a container or required some kind of task to be completed. You would also need to look for a raccoon, find items represented by an image plus find a set number of identical items.
The second scene tends to be more variable in its approach. You might need to replace items in the scene, search for parts of the view and find all differences. A variety of mini puzzle games are used for the third element. Among the puzzles presented could be to follow a path by taking the set numbers of steps, arranging shells to light up all parts of a scene or remove the pieces of a jigsaw that are not physically locked into place.
All these elements must be tackled for the current location before you will be allowed to move onto the next stop-over point of your journey. This next location could well be based in countries such as Mexico, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Morocco, India, Egypt, Tibet, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Argentina, Jamaica, Hawaii, New Zealand or Madagascar. You can then dip into the Collector's Edition aspect of this title's content. This extra content will be made up of ten bonus levels, ten extra puzzles and a further 12 additional games as you visit a further 18 countries plus check out wallpaper sample images and access a music player app.
