Developed by AVI Games, the fourth episode of the company's Amazing Weekend series comes with the subtitle of "Search and Replace".  Available in Collector's Edition format, this title comes with an additional 12 bonus levels, exclusive puzzles and wallpaper elements to enhance the appeal of the product once the main levels have been completed.

Continuing the pattern seen in a number of other titles seen recently, this Amazing Weekend provides a diet of Hidden Object game play mixed in with various mini game puzzles and the earning of Stars to facilitate progress through the game's content.  This is split into a series of blocks that each contain a similar number of features.  This content will consist of three Hidden Object scenes and an unrelated mini game puzzle.

In total there are eight blocks waiting to be completed once you have earned enough Stars to allow you to progress.  Initially you will need to have built up six Stars to progress.  Later this number will increase to eleven Stars for the final steps and give you access to the bonus items.

Each Hidden Object scene provides you with the means to play it three times by selecting from the different methods of displaying the required items.  You can make your selection for each attempt at finding the items from the choice offered by the scene.  These choices will feature three methods from text, pairs, images, silhouettes or part of a particular item.

Along with the required list, whatever method is selected, you will have the opportunity to find a raccoon, recyclable rubbish. a designated souvenir and a small selection of items shown as silhouettes.  By finding all the required items, you will be rewarded with a Star to add to your collection.  By playing a Hidden Object scene three times, using a different required list method, you can earn three Stars towards granting you entry to the next block.

As well as the three scenes, each capable of earning three Stars, you will also have access to the mini game puzzle.  This element will allow you to earn a further two Stars by playing the puzzle twice.  Each attempt will make use of a different background scene for the required puzzle.

The puzzle could involve completing a scene by adding pieces which appear sequentially. You might need to find all the differences between two scenes set side-by-side or transfer coloured counters from one side of the screen to the other.  Other puzzle types might require a scene to be restored by moving sections around, travel through a maze using set steps, search for pairs and find the correct fillings to complete a scene.

Having gain entry to the bonus items making up the Collector's Edition content, you can tackle three extra levels, a further 12 puzzles and a chance to spend money earned during the game to create a campsite plus view the souvenirs collected during the game, view wallpaper items and replay the game's background music.
