Featuring scenic views of New Zealand, Greenland, Mexico, China and Thailand, Lovely Sceneries combine Hidden Object game play with a mixture of various mini game puzzles. Developed by GameOn Production, this title does not offer the opportunity to create profiles for individual players but does allow you to adjust the volume levels for sound effects and background music plus select from a choice of English, French and German as you tackle Hidden Object scenes and mini game puzzles based in different countries.
As mentioned the game deals with five countries with the starting point being New Zealand. Each visited country will house five different challenges that are made up of two separate Hidden Object scenes and three puzzles. While the Hidden Object scenes will adopt a similar pattern of options, the mini games are more varied in their style and required action.
Each Hidden Object scene in the game features an area which can be zoomed identified by sparkles, three golden coins and a series of items that need to be discovered The list of items can be displayed in text format, as silhouettes or as part of the scene depending upon the player's choice. A Star will be rewarded each time the scene is completed using one of the different list format types. By completing both Hidden Object scenes in the three different display modes, you can earn up to six Stars.
The three puzzles allocated to each of the visited countries can be played in Easy or Hard mode. In the case of the New Zealand, the available puzzles involve Spotting the Difference between two similar scene, creating a figure from irregular pieces on a silhouette shape and find all the pairs in a cluttered pile of objects. Each completed puzzles in both Easy and Hard mode with bring an additional Star as reward to add to those earned from Hidden Object game play.
Using eight of the reward Stars you have earned will provide the key to move to the next country of Greenland. In this country, the puzzles will consist of a jigsaw puzzle, manipulating a slider puzzles to arrange animals in their correct rows and finding more pairs in a clutter pile. Spending a further eight Stars will grant you permission to move to Mexico for more challenges.
The collection of mini game puzzles used in Mexico will feature a puzzle requiring a challenge to swap a series of pieces to create two separate images, link together various creature together and sort through another pile of clutter as you search for pairs. Moving onto China you will need to clear a grid of tiles by finding matching pairs, organise an image by swapping horizontal and vertical segments plus clear away even more clutter.
Bringing your main journey to a conclusion is the Country Thailand. Your three puzzles will involve swapping triangular section to create an image. You will also need to place Tetris style units on an outline plan before another dose of clutter clearance.
With the main game completed you can move on to the titles Collector's Clearance bonus items. You will be able to visit Norway and Egypt plus access a photo album of the places visited.
