With a fresh batch of Hidden Object scenes and puzzle solving game play, AVI Games continues its journey across America on-board a Motor home vehicle. Entitled "Motorhome - Traveling America 2". This offering is available in Collector's Edition format as you accompany John, Grace, Stacey and their dog Lucky on their adventures. In order to provide a varied itinerary for the trip, John and Grace have planned a journey that will take in plenty of iconic sights mixed in with the chance to enjoy sunny beaches, snowy peaks and the opportunity to make many new friends on the way.
The planned route for this trip has been divided into section which you must follow in order. As you might expect the opening section is entitled Journey Starts. You then need to journey through Seattle followed by Olympic, Vancouver Charm, the Rocky Mountains, South Dakota and Walking in Minnesota. In each case the section will feature six locations with a mixture of Hidden Object game play and a puzzle type offering.
Often accompanied with a chatty session from your travelling companions, you will be faced by a Hidden Object scene that is populated with a variety of familiar and some not-so-familiar items. Along with the main view of the area, scenes could feature one or two secret areas indicated by sparkles. These areas might contain items you need to find to make progress. While you will generally have to find the listed items there will come a time later in the game when you will also need to replace items in their correct positions.
A list of the items you need to find will accompany the scene. This list could be in a variety of formats over which you have a say. The list could be in text, as silhouettes, images, item type or part of the scene. Along with the listed items, you might be asked to find certain specific items. These special items will be displayed as images alongside the main list. Each scene will also feature a Raccoon and a camera image that reward you will points when found. The camera can also be used to grab a screenshot for displaying in a photo album feature.
Once the Hidden Object stage of the location has been completed, you will be faced by a mini game puzzle. Varied in type, and offering a Skip feature, the puzzle could ask you to restore an image in different ways. This task might involve swapping segments, moving or sliding bands of the scene, rearrange strips or moving parts of a figure. Other puzzles could include spotting the difference between scenes, planning a route across a map, releasing a blocked key piece and matching pairs of face down cards.
Once the main trip has been completed then you can dip into the Collector's Edition extra items. This section has eight bonus levels and eight bonus puzzles plus an additional twelve puzzles. You also get access to a Sticker Pack, Wallpaper, music playback facility and the photo album displaying the snapshots captured during the game.
You can download Motorhome - "Traveling America 2" from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99 or from Big Fish Games priced at £10.54. The game requires a 1.6 GHz processor with 1024MB of RAM and 741MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later. 551
