Block Rush 2 is T1's follow-up title to its recent puzzle solving offering.  Like the original title in this series, T1 has opted to take a different look at the concept of Match 3 game play.  This approach to Match 3 game play requires you to place tiles on a grid rather than remove them from the grid.  It may seem like a simple change but it does require a complete change of game play attitude with your approach to the style of play.

This version 2 of Block Rush spreads its content over 150 levels of game play.  These 150 levels are further divided into 10 groups that are each made up of 15 individual layers that you need to progress through.  Each layer will require the collection a number of specified icons to achieve a set target.  These icons will either appear already in situ within the grid or need to be placed there as part of tiles which are formed of cells and an occasional icon.  These tiles need to be positioned within a vacant space that is currently available in the grid.

While the object of the game is not to completely cover the grid with tiles, you do need to fill rows and columns with tiles especially when they contain icons.  When a row or column is completely covered its content will be cleared and any relevant icons it may hold will be deducted from the layer's challenge.  The layer will be complete when you have collected the appropriate number of icons.

Complicating matters slightly is that you are only supplied with a small number of tiles and these are only replaced when the previous batch have been used.  You never know what type will then be allocated, so some care needs to be taken with regards where you place unwanted tiles.  Layers can be replayed if you reach a stage when no moves are possible.

Once you have successfully completed the 15 layers of a group then you will be given access to the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.  Using the mouse control, you can drag and drop these pieces around a vacant area to recreate an image.  You then start a new round of 15 layers in order to grant access to the next jigsaw puzzle section.
