Casual Arts has organised a vacation tour for you.  This break from your normal routine will take you on a journey entitled the Grand Tour USA II.  During this ultimate USA-to-Caribbean trip of a life time, you will be able to explore iconic landmarks and embark on planned excursions as you search for Hidden Object items and play mini game puzzles.

When signing up for this Vacation Adventure - Cruise Director 9 experience you will be allowed to adjust various volume levels, screen size, cursor choice and whether your on-screen presence is that of a male or female image.  You journey starts at an airport before you transfer to a liner and then switch to land transport.  Your journey will need to be conducted over a route that must be travelled in a set order with progress only being permitted by the completion of the current stage and so on.

The game's series of locations follow a set pattern consisting on a Hidden Object scene that is paired with a mini game puzzle.  Generally you will be asked to find a variety of different items listed in text format.  If an item is listed in red then it will be initially covered in some manner until it is revealed.  An item in the list coloured blue will involve the need to complete a task such as rearranging a sign or filling cups and serving coffee.

Mixed in with the required list of items, scenes will also contain a number of items categorised as lost which you will need to find.  In addition you will need to locate some items represented by a silhouette plus a number of gold anchors, an Eddie the Eagle doll and a stamp icon that will capture the current location as a memento for your photo album.

Assisting your search for the various items will be Hint and Super Hint tools.  These tools will be of special use because many of the required items tend to be of the rather small variety.  However they will serve no purpose when identifying the extra items mentioned.

Once the Hidden Object scene has been completed then you will be faced by the mini game puzzle.  After the initial mini game puzzle requiring you to insert place names in the area covered by the trip, any subsequent puzzles will involve tasks such as rearranging strips of an scene, spotting the differences between side-by-side scenes, rotating section to create a scene, matching pairs of face down cards, finding word in a word-square or correctly answering questions.

Once you have completed the main Grand Tour you will be granted access to the various bonus items bundled as part of the game's Collector's Edition feature.  In this section you will find three bonus levels, 52 extra puzzles, 18 wallpaper images, 20 music tracks and an Extreme mode where you have o find every single item concealed with each location.
