Nokia 6310i

Recommending the 6310i - the IT staffs phone of choice?

Is there anyone that makes phones like Nokia? Having tried Motorola and Sony i am glad to be back on Nokia and this one is great.

Working in IT and seeing other people's phones (phone envy?) this phone seems to be one of the more prominent modles around.

It has Bluetooth, tri-band, GPRS, games, 160 text message capacity (great when you get texts from the bank on a daily basis). The address book is comprehensive and you can store all contact details in one entry (home/office/mobile/email/address) which is great particularly when the device is married to a PDA which stores this information in this way. Receiving data from a PDA (via IR or bluetooth) works well.

The phone is quite long but very light - i carry it in a short pocket with no undue problem or distortion of the line of the shirt!

A feature packed phone which at my rough estimates 7 out of 10 IT People here have !
