A few years ago, a number of friends used to rave about how great their
"Dyson" was, so i thought i would pop round to the local electrical
outlet to see what all the fuss was about. After the intital shock of
the price, i soon realised how simple but effective this vacuum was,
which then made the price look like excellent value.
It certainly looked *very* different to the rest of the vacuum
cleaners, with its stylish bright yellow look for the DC04, which i'm
sure wouldn't look out of place in the boot of your bright yellow
sports car ;)
As well as looking different it certainly performs very differently. It
has Dual Cyclone, which basically means it keeps constant suction, so
make sure your carpet is very well secured to the floor before you
start using your Dyson on it. Also, it has a clear bin, so you can see
it filling up, and empty it before it gets full so avoiding loss of any
suction.
It has many features as well as the clear bin, including filters which
do not need replacing, and just need to be washed every few months
depending on your level of usage. Other features include easily
removable parts to allow clearing of any blockages if you happen to
mistakenly clean up something you shouldn't have.
Best of all is the length of the hose which allows me to clean the
stairs easily and get around those awkward corners. And because it is
so efficient at cleaning, i don't have to do it so regular, which frees
me up to watch more football and rugby on tv ;)
