World Quest - Hidden City

Spread over 20 locations, you can search for objects listed in various formats.

Having acted as your guide to various American camping sites, Lazy Turtle Games has shifted its attention to the more broad scale covering a “World Quest – Hidden City” environment.  As usual the Lazy Turtle team allows you to create profiles to record the progress of individual players.  Adjustments can be made to certain volume levels covering background music and sound effect plus opt for full screen viewing.  When playing the game you have a further choice of opting to use Relaxed mode to decide whether to be limited by either 3 or 10 minutes to complete each task.

The game spreads its action over 20 different locations which have been divided into five groups that need to be tackled in a certain order.  Each group, making up a page, will contain four different locations.  Unlike the groups, the order in which you tackle its content is at your discretion somewhat.

Each location will be represented by a single scene.  This will feature multiple objects, scattered randomly, waiting patiently to be found.  While you are stuck with the image and its content, you do have a choice over how the required list of objects will be presented to you.   By default this list could be in text format.  However you will be given the option to select from a choice that includes shown as silhouettes, be in jumbled list format or presented in mirrored format.

By completing the required list for the location, in whatever format selected, you will be awarded a Star.  By making full use of the different styles of presenting the required list, it is possible to build up a supply of Stars.  When you have reached seven Stars you will be able to unlock the next page and access a further four locations and the reward Stars they hold waiting for them to be earned.

While the Hidden Object aspect of this title does provide you with a rechargeable Hint feature and a magnifier tool for examining areas of the scene, it offers little with regards to extra elements.  Having visited the 20 locations with four styles of presenting the required list, you arrive at a dead-end with no other game play seemingly available.

If you are lust looking for a chance to find items in different locations then you can download World Quest- Hidden Cities from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $9.99 or from Big Fish Games priced at £7.52.  The game requires a 1.0 GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 205MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
