Three Further Gift Ideas

Image of author
First a Book Light that is small and has choice of two settings it clips onto whatever you are reading and is small and flexible enough to fit into a pocket with ease. Second a game that unless you have been in a monastery or on top of very remote hillside for several years will be something you must have heard of, Richard Osman’s House of Games. Lastly a male Cologne in a tin and rather than it being liquid it is a gel so it will fit in a pocket for a quick freshen up while out and about.

Rechargeable Clip Book Light

It is 23cm long and a maximum of 3cm wide at the crocodile clip end it weighs only 33 grams. The last 4.5cm is the crocodile clip that pulls off to reveal a standard USB connection which is how you charge the light.

The clip can easily expand to 2cm or more but it is also happy at just a few sheets of paper so is versatile. You can even remove the crocodile clip to help you investigate round dark corners in a cupboard and the flexible lead can even wrap round a pipe to give you a third hand.

The light turns on via a sequential press on the front end, one click for one LED two clicks for two LED’s and a third to turn it off again.

The rechargeable Clip Book Light is available from the link below for £20

Richard Osman’s House Of Games

This can be played by at least three up to six players as singles and if more than that as teams. It is recommended for age 12+ and a game should last between 30-45 minutes.

There are six categories of the normal games as played on TV, these six type cards are shuffled four are selected and will form the first four games the other two are replaced face down in the box.

The buzzer is placed in the centre of the players are the first to press it gets to answer the question.

The buzzer is supplied with battery inserted.

The rules for each category are slightly different and explained in the folded four side rules sheet.

As per the TV game the last round is always Answer Smash.

You keep score with pencil and paper.

SCUK Solid Cologne UK Alexander

It comes in a 5.5x3x1cm tin with a sliding lid that weighs 27grams.

This is a Solid Cologne Alexander it is a sweet, rich and sophisticated scent. The cologne begins with fresh grapefruit, leading to the heart of aromatic bay leaf and jasmine. The woody base includes patchouli, oak moss and ambergris.

Certainly it is smell that permeates as a tiny dab on say your neck lasts all day.

I am told that as it is solid it does not need to be put in a clear bag to go through customs so unlike something in spray or bottle its spill proof.

The Solid Cologne Alexander is available from the link below for £19.99 with 10% off for your first order so it is only £17.99.
