Christmas in Europe

Providing a mix of Hidden Object scenes and Jigsaws, this next title visits Europe.

As part of its World Quest series, Lazy Turtle Games has released a Christmas in Europe episode.  As with the other titles in this series, this particular episode spreads its content over five pages holding specific challenges.  Following the pattern established in previous World Quest titles, this content consists of three Hidden Object scenes and a jigsaw puzzle with each one offering the chance to earn Stars that can be used to grant you access to later pages in the game.

When playing this game you have a choice of three different modes regarding the amount of time you are allowed to complete searches.  The choices on offer cover relaxed mode or providing you with just ten or three minutes to complete tasks such as finding items and completing puzzles.

You also have the choice of how to present the required list of items for the current Hidden Object scene.  While the default method is set as a text list, it is a simple matter to change this to use silhouettes, jumbled text or in a mirror format.  With this choice of formats, you will be able to earn the three Stars available at each location by playing this scene three times with different formats.

Giving you a break from Hidden Object game play, the final option for the fourth element on a page will be a festive scene presented in the form of a jigsaw.  Again you are given a choice in the presentation of the task.  The jigsaw can be played three times using a different number of pieces.  A Star will be your reward each time the jigsaw is completed using a different number of pieces.

With the nine Stars available from the three Hidden Object scenes and three Stars for jigsaw completion, you will have more than enough to pay the entry free of seven Stars to progress to the next page.  In this way you can progress to locations based in Germany, France, Finland, the Alps and the United Kingdom.  Among the scenes depicted will be those of a Living Room, Backyard, Airport, Hotel Reception, Hotel Room and a Toy Shop with appropriate content.

You can download World Quest – Christmas in Europe from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $9.99 or from Big Fish Games priced at £7.46.  The game requires a 1.0 GHz with 512MB of RAM and 278MB oh hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
