Lulu Has Gone Missing

Lady Margaret is upset. So can you ease her worries by finding her missing dog?

Developed by Jet Dogs Studio, Dark Town Secrets is a Hidden Object Adventure game.  Available in Collector's Editor format, this title comes with a number of bonus items to add extra appeal to the more competitive player who is cast in the role of Casey Monroe, a private detective willing to take on the jobs that the police are reluctant to take.  In this case you have been hired to investigate the disappearance of Lady's Margaret's dog named Lulu and the threatening letter that arrived following the dog's disappearance.

Rather than allow your character to move around the gaming environment as they wished, this game adopts the format of leading the player through a winding series of levels with barely a single diversion being permitted.  This winding road that makes up this game consists of 35 levels or stop-over points.  The marker for seven of these levels features a puzzle token to indicate that you will be required to complete a mini game puzzle which could involve putting together the pieces of a ripped-up document, rotate sections of a scene featuring plants or rotate sections of a pair of matching faces to solve the task.

The remaining stop-over points will either feature static cut-scenes with spoken dialogue as your investigation into the disappearance of Lady Margaret's dog or present you with a Hidden Object scene.  The various scenes used for either the cut-scenes or Hidden Object game play were of an impressive photographic quality to add visual appeal.

Preferring a ransack appearance, Hidden Object scenes with the available items are arranged in an untidy mess.  Your shopping list of items to be collected will be presented in different formats.  The items could be listed as single text items, as groups, found in pairs or shown as silhouettes.  You will be rewarded with one of the found items when the list is completed

Once you have completed the task of searching for Lulu and solving the dog's disappearance, you will gain access to the title's Collector's Edition content.  A number of puzzles, involving repositioning sections to create a picture, view a selection of wallpaper images and play back the game's background music will become available.

You can download  Dark Tower Secrets - Lost Lulu from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99 or from Big Fish Games priced at £11.86.  The game requires a 1.0 GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 832MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
