Can you help a returning son complete his father's last case before he died?

Savannah Puzzles - Father's Heritage is a title from DIGIMIGHT that leans heavily on Nonogram game play.  The game casts you in the role of Jack Rhodes who returns to the place of his childhood in order to solve the case of his father who had been the sheriff of Savannah,  Your task will be to discover the facts regarding his father's discovery of evidence connected to a mystery of what initially appeared to be an accidental fire.  This fire resulted in a the destruction of a building and subsequence insurance claim.

In order to find out what really happened you will need to work your way through 150 levels of Nonogram mosaic creation game play.  These Nonogram levels have been split into groups of 30 which need to be tackled in sequence.  As you progress through the levels you will encounter characters such as Olivia and Tony who worked with Jack's father and are able to guide you towards important information.

When working with the different Nonogram levels you will be provided with the usual standard features seen in Nonogram game play,  You will need to work through a grid made up of a series of layers that each have been allocated a specific colour.  In some cases I felt that the choice of colours assigned to a layer was not particularly helpful and could be confusing.  Often the use of light, normal or dark shades of the same colour if not a format I would recommend and should be avoided.

Arranged across the top and down the left side of each layers will be clues as to which cells need to be filled in.  When the different layers have been completed, they come together to form the Nonogram mosaic.  With each level of Nonogram game play you will be given access to a small selection of power-ups which do need to be recharged, via making progress, after each use.  These power-ups can be used to target a random or user-selected cell for colouring in plus target a selected small area.

Every so often, the completion of a Nonogram level and the reveal of its mosaic will bring an additional reward.  This prize will be a 3D elements which can be fitted into an appropriate silhouette of a scene.  These 3D elements will appear gradually over several levels.  You can either wait until you have received a full set or position each one as it arrives,  Once in place the 3D element will become fixed.

Certain Nonogram levels will be followed by the appearance of a cut-scene.  These feature will be used to advance the story line as Jack makes progress in his search for clues regarding his father's last case.  Along with an occasional static character, these cut-scenes will be accompanied by printed text delivering dialogue.

You can download Savannah Puzzles - Father's Heritage from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $9.99.  The game requires a 1.0 GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 247MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
