Now up to version 3, this Best Place developed title of the Catjong series of puzzle game play continues with more of the same type of action delivered by the earlier offerings.  You get the same mixture of Mah-jong style game play with the resources earned being used to finance the restoration of a landscape that is initially covered with sand.  Holding the different elements together will be the appearance of a large animated cartoon style cat who believes it is in charge.  The cat who offers the encouragement to keep providing all its wants and needs cat naturally expects to be delivered to it..

In order to raise the required resources you will need to complete 200 Mah-jong levels that become increasingly complex as you progress.  Each Mah-jong level will consist of a specific layout of tiles that are embellished with various animal or other types of symbols.  Positioned at the top of the screen will be a panel divided into spaces which are used to hold removed tiles.  Once three similar tiles appear in this panel they are removed thus freeing up their spaces.  You must clear all the main layout before the panel is filled otherwise you will face a penalty or need to replay the level.

After each completed level you will have the opportunity to finance a building as long as you have enough resources.  The actual spending of resources will allow you to pay for the building of glowing temples, peaceful gardens and other vital facilities to make the area more liveable and appealing to the cat.

From time to time some additional tiles, featuring additional properties, will be introduced to the layout.  These extra tiles can either prove useful in different ways to clear other tiles or act as a hindrance that could cause a blockage to the clearance process.

Offering a little encouragement to continue progress, the game will gradually give you access to a selection of nine wallpaper scenes and seven music tracks.  I must admit that while I did find the game to be challenging at times, this is not a game that I can see myself playing for long sessions.  It seems more suitable for an occasional quick free minutes of play when you have not better to do.

You can download this title from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99.  System requirements call for a 2.0 GHz processor with 4096MB of RAM and 171MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
