Like most of you reading this, you probably never wanted to be
seen on public transport or walking through town and be seen
"talking to yourself"?
Well rather than juggling with paperwork on the train and hoiding the
mobile between my shoulder and ear, i finally gave in and bought a
bluetooth headset to go with my Sony Ericsson T610.
What was initially putting me off buying one was the prices when they
all seemed to be over £100. Well this one was under £50! So you might
be thinking "cheap as chips"? Well not this headset!
Don't be put off by the distance the mouthpiece is from your mouth, it
does pick your voice up very well without you having to curl your lips
round.
Although the earpiece is intially set up for you to use with your right
ear, you can simply rotate the earpiece to fit with your left ear.
Once you have "paired" the earpiece with your phone you are ready to
go! It comes with a simple on/off switch which doubles as a manual
pick-up calls button, and also a volume control button.
It comes with a mains charger, and once fully charged the batteries seem to last for a long time.
One caution - if you are walking through your town and its dark, don't
be surprised if you are mistaken for a Cyborg, as it has a blue flasing
light when it is on!
Many times i have forgotten that i am wearing it, and wonder why i get
some strange looks when arriving at a meeting. But then again, it might
not be the wireless headset ;)
