Adding to its collection of Jigsaw titles, Revills Games has developed Jigsaw Puzzle Lovers 3.  As with the earlier titles in this series, this latest product allows you to make adjustments to music and sound effects audio levels, background brightness plus set the snap sensitivity, preview opacity and whether to include a rotation feature in the mix of attributes used by the software.  You will also have the chance to set the desired mouse control for scrolling the work area which I found took sometime to get use to initially when adjusting the work area aspect.

This new title comes well stocked with the images that will form the central element of the Jigsaw being developed.  The supplied images have been split into eight categories or groups.  The images are available as Animals, Assorted, Fantasy, Landscapes, Love, Sea Life, Travel and Visual Art.  Each category will contain 40 different images that can be selected in any order and as often as the player desires.  Along with the main categories, there is one additional category which arrives empty but can be used to hold up to 28 images of your own artwork that you consider suitable for forming a Jigsaw image.

Having made your selection of a chosen image for the Jigsaw, you are then offered a number of additional options regarding the type of puzzle that will be tackled.  The game supports the solving of four different puzzle types.  The supported formats are Jigsaw, Tile Swap, Split Tile and Tile Rotation puzzles.

 By default the type of puzzle will be a traditional Jigsaw.  This will be set to come with a particular set of attributes which then give you access to some further options.  Traditional type Jigsaws need to have some method of connecting pieces to each other.  With Jigsaws in this product you will be given a choice of eight different shapes that will provide the linkage.  You will also be given the chance to opt for a tidily, messy or scattered everywhere when the pieces are placed on the work area when solving the puzzle.

If you do not fancy working with a traditional Jigsaw puzzle, then you can select one of the other supported formats.  In each of the different supported puzzle formats you can select from a variety of piece numbers.  You will also be given a choice of  Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty.  With the Split Tile puzzle you will also have the option to select a vertical or horizontal cut for the tiles making up the puzzle.

Whatever type of puzzle you opt for, the necessary pieces will be placed on a work area along with a set of tools.  Generally these tools will be appropriate to the type of puzzle.  Once you have completed the puzzle, the image then becomes available for use as wallpaper.  Each image can be used multiple times using the four different puzzle types.
