Sony Ericsson T610

A beautiful phone and in the top three of the 'T3' poll for gadget of the year i beleive...

I have always had Nokia phones and to be honest although i like the interface and menu's the designs and functions can get a bit boring...(the new 6600 is emphatically excused from that statement). For my latest upgrade i took a wild card and, having read Donato's review, went for a T610.

A beautiful little machine that barely dents the shirt pocket weighing a miniscule 85grams (i think) nice interface that was fairly easy to adapt to from Nokia although when texting the space button is different which took a bit of retraining. All normal phone functions are present and correct and there are some neat extras Music DJ is quite clever although i suspect more for teenagers! the phone is pretty versatile and not bad quality as a fun device. The screen size and resolution is very impressive - i did look at the latest Sharp phone which was better but a much larger phone. Also moving from a Nokia 6310i i guess anything would have looked special!

Overall a neat gadget that i am still working through....it's as useable as any Nokia i have had and much sexier!

The chap in the Orange shop also said that this is the phone they are shifting quicker than any other - even the N-Gage - as much as i hate being populist i can't help but think it's a great choice!

Next stop a 20G iPOD!
