While I have reviewed numerous Melitta coffee machines over the years it is only recently that I have learnt they also supply coffee, I knew that their absorbent paper had been going for a while now I learn that it is 50 years. Still this review is about their coffee machine the Epos that is also a grinder.

Is 30.5 wide, 35cm tall and 28cm from back to front.
This is two units the first on the left is the the grinder suitable for when you have found the coffee that suits you. The second on the right is the unit that prepares the ground coffee ready for drinking.
The manual has eleven different languages and has single page at the start to describe all the points on the two units 'A' to 'O'.
Certainly you will need to read the information more than once to understand everything. There are six pages in English and the typeface is small so certainly work things out before you start using beans, you might find it easier to start with some ground coffee first.
Even the majority of coffee shops works from ground coffee. Once you find the beans you like then this machine will give you output at least as good as the majority of coffee shops and once you have learnt to use it with the coffee of your choice you will find so many more people join you for coffee.
Children under 8 years should not be allowed to use either part of the machine according to the instructions.
While most supermarkets nowadays sell ground coffee finding non ground beans are more likely to only be found online.
As stated once you have found ground coffee you like then your search is on to find the non-ground version, this machine can use the ground coffee in unit two.
The Melitta Epsos is available from the Melitta link below for just £249.99
