Myst Hill, as its name might indicate, is a place where eerie creatures roam, townsfolk vanish and a dark organisation has taken up residence.  It is also the location where Elephant Games has chosen to send a team of Detective United agents to investigate the area.  You will form part of the team of agents in the title of Detective United - Mission Possible which is a Hidden Object Adventure game.

With the usual options to adjust varying aspects of the gaming environment, you can play the game in a choice of Casual, Advanced, Hardcore or Custom level of difficulty.  Your Detective United team will consist of Anna Gray, Ewan Florence and Dorian Brown.  This trio will bring together the ability to time travel using items sourced from the past, stop the flow of time and make use of invisibility while being ambidextrous.  It will be up to you to use these features as and when as necessary to complete tasks.

Along with your team's special ability, you can make use of information delivered to the mouse pointer so that it will change shape to indicate when different actions are possible plus make use of tools arranged across the bottom of the scenes.  At different points in the game your role in the action will switch between the different members of the team so that their particular special ability can be put to some use.  To ensure this character of role does not become too confusing you will be informed of the change prior to it happening. 

The change of character lead could affect the items available in the tool section and the ability that might be available.  For example when acting as Anna the array of tools will feature the addition of the skull of Anna's departed father.  This skull will shimmer when it has information to impart of gifts to the team.

Using your team's abilities, you will need to deal with the threat of an organisation known as the Four Aces.  This case will take on a task-based approach. Generally you will operate as individuals rather than working as a team unit as different tasks are completed. 

Scattered throughout the different scenes, including a caged area used for fights which are held to thrill an audience looking to soak in the pain of the active contestants, will be puzzle pieces and figurines.  These items can be collected and used within certain bonus elements which become available once the main game has been completed. 

Included in these bonus elements will be the opportunity to replay mini game puzzles as you restore images by moving sections, adjusting slider bars and putting torn scenes back together or the completion of Hidden Object challenges that use required lists presented using pairs, silhouettes, text or find and replace certain items.  You will also have access to a bonus chapter to help tie up some loose ends.
