The Uneo joins a growing trend in power tools using Lithium-Ion batteries. These provide much higher power density than traditional Ni-Cad or the more recent NiMh cells. They also avoid the memory effects of the older technology resulting in every shorter usable charge cycles. The Black & Decker Pivot Auto car vacuum cleaner is a very handy little gadget.  It is so much easier to use than taking your regular home vacuum cleaner out complete with extension lead!  And the suction is good for such a small unit which runs off your car battery. The Pivot Auto has a car lighter jack, so all you have to do is plug it into the car and away you go.  The Pivot name refers to the nozzle which pivots from the base to various different positions.

I'm afraid to say I had not heard of SEBO vacuum cleaners, even though they've been around for 25 years, until they sent me the SEBO X4 Pet. However, I'd now say it's a name to look out for. Here we have a vacuum cleaner, designed for pet owners and allergy sufferers, with a very traditional look. But don't let that point you off.

Due to a dentist drilling on a nerve when I was seven it was a long time before I went again and because of that my teeth were in a state. I have been fortunate since my early twenties to have the same dentist (over forty years) and now I trust him totally. All too often when getting clothes out of the wardrobe we find that they have developed a crease or two but, unfortunately, there is not really time to get the ironing board out and run the iron over the garment. Recently I had the electric lighting system in my home rewired.  The positioning of some lights, which I am still adjusting to, was moved while, in a couple of cases, cord-pulled switches replaced other types of on/off methods.  One innovative technology that I did not consider as part of the rewiring process was the use of hand movements to control various lighting conditions.

The original computer mouse featured a ball that allowed it to be moved smoothly in any directly without the need for additional adjustments by the user.  Believing this same principle could be adapted for use with a vacuum cleaner, especially considering the trend towards smaller residents with the UK leading the rest of Europe in this respect, James Dyson and his tem of engineers set about designing a new vacuum, cleaner based on the ball principle.

Philips are now a leader in things for health benefits. I have been using this for three weeks now and I certainly feel better for it. It is 29cm tall, 18cm wide and 12cm deep.
