It is no bigger than most plugs so can fit in beside others on a dual socket or gang lead. It is a little taller as the plug from whatever you want to find out the hourly or daily cost from fits onto its back.
There is an LED it shows green once linked and green and orange towards the rear of its top when being setup. You may need access to its left side so on a dual socket plug it into the left one so you are able to complete its setup.
You are often told that leaving your TV in standby mode is expensive, well mine is not as during a twelve hour period of standby it used 0.003kWh of power. I also found that in use it uses 73watts when working.
A single bar of a Halogen heater starts at 375watts but can reduce by a few watts after a few minutes use.
The plug is 7x5x3.8cm and has the LED halfway between the TAPO name and top of the plug. The push button the left side is 3.5cm down from the top.
Download the TAPO App, once downloaded find the correct switch from the list given. Unusually it is a sub App which works within the Google Home App.
The App is two pages of information with the front page telling you recent information and the second page longer ago timings.
I found I could remove the device from one plug and go to another room to to use on another device without having to remove and then re set it up but a longer removal from power will require a new device start up.
