Popsockets

For those times where a third hand would be useful, well normally that is not possible but with a Popsocket you can keep you phone stabilised and still do those extra things without that third hand, the Popsocket sticks on the back of your phone so one hand may be all you need.

A four centimetre circle allows you grip your phone securely, also useful for those large screen offerings that have a fingerprint reader high up the back.

While a nasty health scare stopped me attending the London launch I was still sent some samples and have been trying them out.

They can be plain or patterned, one I was sent had poppies on the surface. One finger on one side and another on the other side should allow your phone to appear to hang in mid air, it is actually held securely by glue meaning the rest of the fingers of that hand are free.

However it not simply that as if you pull it you can grip and push it in to allow your phone back in your pocket without a bulge.

It is possible to remove the unit from your phone to allow repositioning by following the instructions on the card.

It can be as thin as .5cm on your phone or 1cm and even 2cm; it is also possible to remove for cleaning or for those far more fashion coconscious to change the back according to the occasion.

When in the 2cm position it also allows itself to be a prop to allow you to place the phone on a table to view videos.

I was also sent a Popwallet ideal for those who carry a phone and a credit/debit card and not much else. The Popwallet attaches to the back of your phone and the card is stored inside the wallet with a distinct push on one end required to eject it. If your phone allows wireless charging then follow the instructions to move it to one side to allow charging to take place.

The final item supplied was a three in one Grip, Stand and Mount. The Grip and Stand work as the Popsocket above the extra is the mount that allows it to be attached to say the dashboard of a car to allow hands free use of your phone while driving.

So dependant on the Popsocket you have fingers available or if you go for the Grip, Stand and Mount then your whole hand is available.

So Popsockets are available from £10.98 to £11.98.
