Children often have a fascination for insects of all varieties.  I have a clear recollection of one of my younger sisters often carrying worms around in her pocket but that's another story.  Along with the overwhelming desire to get to grips with the insect world, the aspect of flight - a vital ability for many insects - can quickly arouse and captivate a child's attention.
OK, so we know they all want an iPOD, the Wii and a Nintendo DS Lite - that's obvious. But what else could you put under the Christmas tree. Regular readers will know that I first saw this at the Toy Fair in January and it was one of the items I requested to review as and when available, now it has arrived from Gizoo.
While it can - and does - fly outside a good space away from anything breakable is required indoors to avoid problems. I would suspect the reason it scared Andy's wife was not because of anything else other than the threat of breaking items. The full comment from Andy on my Dream Toys report was "I've used the Remote Flytech DragonFly, I crashed a few times at the start but soon got in to it, GREAT fun but scared my wife ha".
