Grim Tale - All Shades of  Black is a Hidden Object Adventure game from Elephant Games.  Available in Collector's Edition format, this product comes with a number of bonus items to supplement the main game involving paranormal activities and delving into matters best left undisturbed.  Your role will be that of Anna Gray, the central character in this adventure, who sets out to save her family.

Available from Domini Games, Mystical Riddles - Haunted Portraits is a Hidden Object Adventure offering.  I have been looking at the Collector's Edition version of this product which comes bundled with a number of bonus items to help enhance the appeal of the main game.  While some of the bonus items will be available immediately, others such as mini game puzzles and Hidden Object game play, are only accessible once they have been tackled in the main game.

With this next title. Elephant Games has opted to return to the Crossroads playing environment.  Rather than the often derided television soap famous for its use of flaky scenery, the Elephant Game's take on Crossroads focusing its attention on a building that you could well walk past and ignore it completely.  It is the type of building that will hide its appeal under a bushel unless it felt your needs and thus would draw you into its warm embrace.

It is time for another visit to the colourful world of StarL as Version 5 of this product arrives.  Developed by Itera Labs, this Match 3 oriented challenge spreads its challenging influence over 130 levels of grid mastery.  As you travel along its journey of action, you will be expected to complete a series of individual challenges as you remove set numbers of colourful pieces of fruit while overcoming obstacles through the use of various boosters.

Point 8 Games would like to invite you to take part in a virtual tour of Alaska.  This invitation comes in the form of the company's Vacation Paradise - Alaska Hidden Object title.  This offering is available in Collector's Edition format but more on that aspect a little later. Those playing this game have a choice of playing the game in a variety of European languages.   You also have the option of playing this game in a choice of Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty levels.

Combining a selection of Hidden Object game play and puzzling mini game challenges, AVI Games has developed Amazing Weekend - Search and Relax.  This title is available in Collector's Edition format bundling bonus levels, extra mini game puzzles, wallpaper and a music play facility to the main game play action.  These extra items become accessible once sufficient progress has been made in the main game area.

"Love Letters" is a new release from Mixo Games' catalogue of products.  While, due to its title, some might think that this offering is about those romantic missives that would dominate personal communications in the past, this title is more to do with the ability to create words using clues in the form of available letters.   Some might regard this offering as being a simplified form of a part of a Scrabble board display.

The game allows you to make the usual Domini Games range of adjustments to the gaming environment.

Match 3 game play has much to offer with regards to the roles to which it can be put.  Recently I have seen this grid-based Match 3 format used to create routes for cats to reach food, set out a search for pirate gold and rebuild Dracula's castle.  Now this format provides the basis with which to create a garden out of a desolate area in order to win a  special reward showing off your skills. Garden for Glory is the name of this game developed by IKi Games.

Continuing its look at the adventures making up Amanda's Magic Book, e-Funsoft has released episode 10 of this series of Match 3 game play.  In this latest episode, Amanda is partnered by her usual companion, Charlie, as the time travelling duo are transported to the 19th century Paris.  Rather surprisingly, the duo's adventure are not the result of Charlie's usual bout of mischievous behaviour.

Do you remember Ace Ventura?  He was the Pet Detective of the cinematic world as played by Jim Carrey in a couple of movies.  Now you can take on a similar role by becoming Artemis Wilde who has recently been appointed Zoo Detective and the lead character in Elephant Game's title of Wilde Investigations - The Zoo Kerfuffle.  Classified as a Hidden Object Adventure, this game is available in Collector's Edition format with a number of bonus items to supplement the main game.

Following excursion to Australia/New Zealand, France, Ireland and Japan to tackle Jigsaw and Swap puzzles, Tiny Little Lion turns its focus of attention to the Nordics.  As with earlier titles in this puzzle solving series, you can explore over 120 images of scenes that include features of Iceland and the Norwegian fjords to challenge the player.  Access to the game's content is delivered by numerous menu options as you make the necessary selections.

The Domini Games'  developed Criminal Archives as a Hidden Object Adventure title.  With the latest offering in the series, the Blade of Deceit casts you in the role of an elite police consultant hired to solve a shocking murder involving a body found washed up on a riverbank.  The body turned out to be a judge which certainly increases the number of suspects for this crime.

Offering to take you on a visual trip to Seattle, Lazy Turtle Games has released the next title in its Amazing Vacation series.  While retaining its usual features for adjusting the game's basic environment, Lazy Turtle Games has made various alterations to the way the title presents its content.  You can adjust volume levels and resolution plus opt for no time limit or either a 10 or 3 minute limit restriction before tackling the new arrangement of the product's content.

Continuing its Big Adventure series of offerings, the AVI Game's title of Trip To Europe 8 takes you on a voyage through 15 European countries with a mixture of Hidden Object challenges and a variety of mini game puzzles.

After a brief sabbatical following the mischievous deeds of Loki, Helga, the Viking Warrior, takes to the battleground once again in e-Funsoft's latest Match 3 offering.  Entitled "Dawn of Doom", this episode 5 of the Helga saga has our heroine entering the shadowed lands of Svartalheim.  Along with her companions, she will need to investigate the changes in the resident Dwarfs' behaviour as a dark force threatens all the realms of Valhava.

I must admit that the title of this next game initially caused me a certain amount of confusion regarding its content.  My first thoughts on seeing the title "Trick Solitaire" were that I was about to learn more about card manipulation and some so-called tricks.  But I was mistaken.

Suricate Software's latest excursion into the world of Jewel Match game play focuses on the Lord of Darkness and Dracula's efforts to create a fortress worthy of his status.  Available in Collector's Edition format, this title combines mini game puzzles, fortress construction and various special abilities with regards to the tiles appearing in the game.

While this next title might indicate that its character of Ms Holmes might be returning from her adventures in the AVIGOR's Detective Agency offering.  However this is not true.  This particular Ms Holmes is o the one featured in the Elephant Games "The Dancing Men" offering.  To help reduce confusion, this Ms Holmes is Sharotte Holmes rather than AVIGOR's Sharon Holmes.

On returning to the multi-dimensional environment that houses the Paranormal Files, you can make adjustments to elements of the gaming environment inhabited by the game play of Counterpart.  Volume levels can be set for music, sound effects, environment and the dialogue delivered by voice actors.  You can also adjust the gamma level of brightness.

Myth or Reality – Snowbound Secrets is a Hidden Object Adventure game.  Domini Games, the product’s developer, has opted to place this particular offering in Northern Canada.  Available in Collect’s Edition format, this title comes with a collection of bonus items to supplement the gaming experience.

Combining themes with a range of puzzle types, AVI Games has developed the second version of its title of Lots of Things offering.  By creating profiles, different people can play the game with adjustable volume levels for music and sound effects.  The game can be viewed in either full screen or windows mode with a custom cursor and a tutorial feature that can be turned off if not required. The game presents its range of puzzle types into a variety of themes.

Pixel Art 15 is the latest offering to join the Paint by Numbers genre of image colouring titles.  Developed by T1 Games this particular title gets the would-be artist to concentrate on images formed from individual pixels rather than groups of pixels which have been split into sections.

Catstown, once again, becomes the centre of action as Elephant Games returns to the feline world of the home for Knight Cats.  This latest episode is entitled Waves on the Water and it is available in Collector’s Edition format.  With this format you get a number of bonus items to enhance the main game play which can be tackled in a choice of Casual, Advanced, Hardcore or Custom difficulty level.

Fans of the Pop Art series of titles will no doubt be pleased to hear that T1 Games has released the next title in the series with its Pop Art 5 title.  As with the earlier offerings in this series, this latest version follows a similar pattern with its Paint by Number product, Pop Art 5 is built around a number of outline sketches that can be coloured in using a numbered colour palette.  Appropriate tools come supplied with the product to produce the finished images.
