I was lucky enough to see SIRO-A last year during their visit to the UK. This time they have lots of dates at the Leicester Square Theatre between now at the start of January 2015.

Here is what I wrote about their visit in February 2013.
When I was sent an invite to the press night it very nearly went into the recycling, I do not like dance, I do not follow all the various TV programs extolling dance, so why then did I go and why was it such a great experience.
The technology used was the winner for me, the fact that it was a mix of live performers and almost impossible to tell the difference between them and projections. The LEDs their body suits were covered in the total lack of scenery except for some large cubes that were stacked in various precision ways and the whole accuracy of their placement on the stage.
It was a wonderful performance from one person doing the lighting and one the sound at the back of the stage but for me the most amazing thing was that the dancers were only four. See the show to see how just four could do everything they did.
There is a clip of the troupe in Japan and while the curtain bit that is the first part of it is clever the latter part is more of what you can see in the Leicester Square Theatre in London on various dates until
The amount of technology and training for those four performers – I do not call them dancers – was sheer skill. One word of warning the music was rather loud so if like me it was too loud you should bring earplugs with you. However even a non dance lover like me had a great time.
For those who want quality audio you first need to listen to it, there are only a few places this can be done and most of those are tied to a single brand or brands. So it was quite a surprise to me to find an independent shop in central London.
It is not a shop in the conventional meaning of the word. It is on the second floor on the Clerkenwell Road quite near Old Street Tube. However I found it surprisingly quiet and easy to listen with the buses that passed being only a tiny noise.
It consists of a single very large room where a whole range of items from high quality headphones, speakers, DAB radios, LP decks and perhaps most important all the cables and other connections are available to link together.
As far as music is concerned they have a large range of CD’s, LP’s and perhaps more important higher quality music on a PC available to be played to find what parts will form what you require from a whole range of high quality manufacturers from around the world.
They are also quite happy for you to bring your own CD’s or audio files. You are able to select which units to match with which headphones or speakers.
Do not expect bargain basement prices, the equipment they sell is quality.
I have always been an audio fan and thoroughly enjoyed my visit, the staff were helpful and offered advice about what they considered might go with what.
A look at their website (link below) will give you an idea of what could be available at what sort of price.
They also do installations when required and while they are London based I asked the question and was told the home counties and even Bristol was within their work range for installations.
A lot of famous names were mentioned during conversations but I mention just three who are on one of their flyers so they must have approved it, Mark Knopfler from my day and two more recent names Will Young and a certain Harry Styles.
To give you an idea of single component prices DAB units from £179 to £600. Headphones from £50 to £2000. Speakers from ATC, £800 to £15000 and for those looking for an LP deck £200 to £1100.
Their website has details of most of the brands they cover and should you think it worth a visit ring or email first.

Microsoft has announced that Windows 8 will be available towards the end of October 2012 with new machines available from then.
Anyone buying a new PC between now and then will be able to upgrade for $14.95 with a figure of $39.99 being mentioned for the rest of us.
Anyone with Windows 8 will automatically get Cloud storage. The Microsoft spokesperson said this release would be the biggest thing since Windows 95!
Pogoplug Mobile serves as a mobile cloud companion, allowing users to stream unlimited quantities of photos, music and movies from their homes to their iOS and Android mobile phones as well as iPads.
For iOS users, it gives them unlimited, instant streaming of entire media libraries. This will be a great companion for iCloud (streaming!)
For Android users, it's a unified streaming and sharing service and also enables automatic home backup of all photos, movies, music and other content on the device. Content is backed up automatically in the background - kind of an iCloud for Android users, but in your home.
There are no storage limits.
No need to re-download the same content to multiple devices.
Includes brand-new software design and user interface for easy streaming and storage of content.
A review will follow once item is fully tested.
I count myself among the 633million users of Skype. I have used it more or less from the beginning. Perhaps the writing was on the wall when it was purchased for a lot of money a while ago by eBay. However this now seems to be a good deal - as far as eBay are concerned - as Microsoft have just spent $8.5 billion to buy it from them.
Nuromol is a mixture of Ibuprofen and Paracetamol but constructed in such a way that the ingredients that normally work at different speeds act together to give the same pain relief for longer.
With computers and their software if something does not work correctly most will be told RTFM (read the f… manual) here however the answer is RTFL (leaflet) as a large number of people continue taking painkillers without reading the leaflet supplied.
In a recent survey overall nearly a quarter of respondents did not know the difference between Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and Codeine. This rose to 37% of those in the age group of 18-24 year olds.
Medicine misuse is rife, 65% take painkillers for more than four days without seeking advice, over 30% take more than the recommended dose and perhaps most startling 29% do not read the on pack warnings let alone the leaflets inside.
Overall if you have pain that will not go away go and see your doctor or pharmacist. Numomal will not be available from corner shops or service stations just Chemists. The maximum number that should be taken in a day is six. Nuromol is available in packs of six, twelve, eighteen and twenty four and as stated only from your Chemist.
Ford made an announcement at Cebit in Germany yesterday, when the same announcement could have been made from Geneva in Switzerland at a Motor Show. It concerns a new car (range of cars) to be available in Europe in 2012, these are currently available in the USA.
I took the time to visit a link from Cebit in Germany – in a London hotel - and then a chance to have a video link (via Skype) to one of the presenters after their broadcast.
The technology in the new range of Ford Focus cars will be from Microsoft and perhaps the most interesting feature is that a lot of the technology in the car can be controlled by voice and this is provided by Nuance. So you can add your phone, Blackberry or iPod and play your favourite tunes or call your partner all by voice control, this as well as more mundane car controls such as temperature and navigation.
Perhaps another interesting feature is that a pan Europe 112 emergency number will get assistance to the car after an accident/breakdown using the language of the country you are currently in, another of the bits where Microsoft and Nuance will be working together.
Update written 1-1-11 my mistake in the first item when you click on your name its LEFT click to enter your code.
I also note that album prices have been reduced today to the cost at 20p per track, so you no longer pay extra to download a full album in one go, however remember their sale lasts only to the 4th January.
A couple of people have contacted me to say there have been a few crashes but although I have had it happen to me it's only when I have been downloading a single track and I can immediately repurchase without problem. I would be more concerned if I was using my money than the credit via the link in the first article. However I now find it more solid than three days ago, remember this is still BETA.

I recently received an email about a new download site - not that unusual - however on investigating further it became a lot more interesting. As it is not just pop, pop and more pop but also different genres including my vice JAZZ.
On first look I assumed that would be a few well known artists and little else, wrong.
Once a member you can listen – uninterrupted – to as much music as you like so you can definitely try before you buy.
The news just gets better as from now till the 4th of January all tracks are 20p each. So currently you can download a full album of tracks for less than the price of an album.
The album I am currently streaming is £4.49 normally but the nine tracks it contains downloaded separately will – until 4th January – cost just £1.80, that’s £1.80 for the full album.
However don’t just take my word for it www.gadgetspeak.com has been given a code allowing a good number of readers to try it for themselves with ‘over £5 worth of music available to download for FREE
The code you need is CHEEKYELF326 and the site to use it on is http://www.mflow.com
To redeem your code right click on your name top right of the mflow window and enter the code above.
A total of six clicks from selecting the album to having it on your PC and less than 30 seconds, try it!!!
