iPhone extras - round up - Part 2!

The second part of my round up of some of the many accessories available for your Apple iPhone - starting with headphones!

Yesterday I took a look at powering your sleek and trendy iPhone along with suitable cases to protect your little wonder of touch-screen technology. Today I'm looking at just a few of the many available headsets and related accessories. The final part will delve into Apple's appStore to see how your iPhone can help you when you're not making a call!

Having an iPhone means I can leave my iPod at home. If you want to treat yourself to some new headphones here's a couple you may consider.

Urbanz Block DJ Headphones

£26.10 from Amazon

Wow! I'm not sure I'm trendy enough for these headphones which are so cool they come in their own bag. A bit heavy (as in the weight) for my taste, my son assures me they are 'banging'. Sound quality is really good for all kinds of music with a 3.5mm screw in jack and an adaptor for your iPhone. The headphones fold down and are self-adjusting with two extra leather ear pads. The Urbanz Block DJ Headphones are available in White/Grey, Khaki/Brown, Grey/Black and Blue/Black.

You can find much more about the Urbanz entire range on the Urbanz web-site.

Audéo PFE headphones

£129.99 Amazon

My first impression of these headphones was that they looked amazing and from the foam tip to the cable and iPhone hands free button, they exude quality. Because the foam tip automatically moulds to your ear it cuts out unwanted external noise which means the sound quality is great. What really impressed me is that these headphones have been designed by the world's leading manufacturer of hearing instruments who have a great understanding of the ear's anatomy so they know how to make these fit well and comfortably.

'Other' accessories!

Even if you aren't buying new headphones here are a couple of nifty add ons you might like.

Magneat cable organiser

£8.99 at www.amazon.co.uk

Magneat is a wearable, magnetically attached spool that tidies away excess earphone cable. You simply attach Magneat to your clothing by sliding the magnet apart and putting one part inside your clothing and the other on the outside so you can wind away pesky wires. Magneat really does stay in place which is ideal for joggers, cyclists and gym goers. If you use your iPhone as a music device too or just need something to keep you earphone wires tidy then Magneat would be a great accessory.
